The client wanted to update their dated existing Edwardian house inside and out as well as to add a contemporary glass extension with an open plan living space that seamlessly connects the house to the garden. The project also included landscaping the rear garden, installation of a swimming pool with jacuzzi, construction of a new luxury gym and the addition of a car lift for storing precious cars.
The frameless floating glass extension with floor to ceiling windows, floods natural light into the house, making it feel bright and airy while offering great views into the landscaped garden. The space evolves from a fantastic daylit space, becoming an atmospheric evening and night time setting created by a subtle yet evocative lighting scheme.

The garden includes a luxurious twenty-metre long swimming pool with a water fountain and built-in spa, which is visible down the side of the house from the gym through its motorised glass façade.
